Modes of action

Tylvalosin tartrate acts by inhibiting protein synthesis in the bacterial cell. Macrolides interfere with protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 50S ribosome subunit.

Tylvalosion tartrate has ability to increase macrophage phagocytic activity, decrease pro-inflammatory cytokine expression and lower oxidarive stress.

Tyvalosin tartrate affects the immune sysytem directly & indirectly by causing monocytes to transform in to macrophage.

Tylvalosin tartrate directly accumulate in phagocytic cells such as macrophage & heterophils, facilitating it's delivery to the site of infection.
